Webs trying to do sheetfed jobs...
As variety of cut-offs are increasing day by day, more printers don't want to keep their investments blocked in a fixed cut-off machine. High speed throughput with lower changeover times is the new mantra.
We, at Multitec are committed to continuous improvement in our variable circumference web presses so that we can cater to printers that are actually trying to do sheet-fed jobs at a much higher speed on a web. The significant savings thus resulting in higher profitability.
We are in the process of trying out coated stock on our web so that the barrier of substrates is broken. Keep watching this space as we bring you updates on this development.

From Reel to A4 without wastage...
Our Precision Sheeters produce A4, A3, FS, etc. sizes directly from a reel and that too without any wastage.
While most convertors would prefer to cut the sheet
sizes from a larger sheet using a guillotine, it is
actually not the correct method to do so. All mills
produce paper in reel format. Sheeting is a second operation,
and more often than not, they charge for it. Thus you
are paying extra for the larger sized sheets. While
finishing a larger sheet, there is wastage on all four
sides. While finishing on a guillotine, sheets of paper
tend to stick together, creating problems in the copier
machine, fax, printer, etc. This is known as "pinch".
Squareness and correct size of guillotine cut sheets
rely on a great extent on the correct placement of paper
on the guillotine table. Most errors result in wrong
sizes. Production through a guillotine is very low.
Now you know why our Precision Sheeters are the right choice !
